PROPS. Short for “Property” which technically means anything used for TV shows, Movies, and Advertisements other than the actors.

Movie: The Maltese Falcon. This falcon was provided by the owner of John's Grill in San Francisco who had his original copied. John's Grill is a restaurant prominently part of the Dashiell Hammett / Sam Spade world. *
Movie: Blue Thunder. This LAPD helicopter was built on a French Aérospatiale Gazelle.
Movie: Runaway. A walking metal spider with brass gears and fully articulated legs used by the villain played by Gene Simmons (guitar player for KISS) to attack a police officer played by Tom Selleck. The spider was screen used and seen. The "smart gun" shown is built on a Colt 1911 frame but in the movie fires bullets which follow its target. *
Movie: The Flinstones & The Flintstones Viva Rock Vegas. Custom synch slate "clapper" with etched and colored lettering. Screen used Special Agent credentials, Security badge, and credit card simulate chiseled stone. Note how the Flintstones Movie "FBCI credential" set resembles the X-Files "FBI credential set. *
Movie: 2001 A Space Odyssey. This metal HAL 9000 was built by S.D. Studios. *
TV Show: The Twilight Zone, Episode: The Invaders. Two versions of the "invaders" from that episode. *
Movie: Minority Report. Two police IDs and badges. The "Precrime" ID card is unique in that it is a lenticular card, as you change your angle of view the head rotates left to right, etc. *
A miniature copy of the infamous "Old Sparky" electric chair. Scale is 1:6. *
Movie: Ghoastbusters. Proton Pack and Ecto Goggles. Pack uses original military LC-1 frame, genuine Clippard valves and Legris fittings, has lighting inc. laser emitter in Ion Wand. Ecto Goggles built using a real U.S. Army NVG frame. *
TV Series: Warehouse 13 (SyFy Channel). A "Farnsworth" communication device used by the U.S. Secret Service agents who were the lead characters on the show. *
